About
Jim Beatty has collaborated with SNS through various nonprofit work throughout his career, bringing expertise in creative thinking, marketing innovation, and proven leadership. After earning his BA in Mathematics from Doane University, he began his career with AT&T and Northwestern Bell before founding NCS International in 1982.
He brings a wealth of experience from his diverse and successful career. Jim is President of Jim Beatty Golf Ventures, Executive Editor of African American Golfer’s Digest, and Founder of the African American Golf EXPO & Forum, advancing diversity and opportunity in the sport. His civic leadership includes founding the Urban League of Nebraska, serving on the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation Board, and being inducted into the Nebraska Jaycees Hall of Fame.
Jim has led more than 300 projects, generating over $3 billion in capital investment and creating 30,000 jobs across industries such as call centers, manufacturing, and food processing. Named one of America’s top site selection consultants, he is also an author, national speaker, and contributor to leading industry publications.
