Michael began his career working as a Research & Policy Associate in the City of Philadelphia's Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy while earning his Master of Arts Administration from Drexel University. After moving to Cincinnati, he became Grants Manager for the Contemporary Arts Center. He next served as Foundations & Grants Manager for Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Currently, he works as a freelance grant writer and lives in Omaha, Nebraska. Michael has experience writing grants for nonprofit organizations in a variety of sectors, including the arts, education, healthcare, and for public-sector entities. In addition to a thorough grounding in grants management best practices and a keen attention to detail, he counts as one of his greatest strengths his excellent writing ability.
