Annual Giving

Major gifts and planned giving can be one of the most lucrative forms of fundraising because they offer an organization its greatest opportunity to receive large gifts on an ongoing basis.

The annual fund is the process of seeking funds on an annual or recurring basis, from the same constituency, or from a broadening constituency, with income used generally for operating budgets. The strategies for an annual fund include:

  • Grants

  • Personal Solicitations

  • Personal Letters

  • Digital Marketing

  • Direct Mail

  • Special Events

Organizations must develop a logical prospect list that is well-researched with up-to-date information. Ideally, this list should include all types of donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and business relationships.

Strawhecker Nonprofit Services can assist your organization in establishing annual fund goals and create the strategies needed to achieve them.
